Irwin Industrial Tools, in our opinion, makes the best bar and hand clamps out there.  There is nothing worse than fighting with a clamp while trying to apply it to a complex structure.  We carry the complete line of smaller (of course) one handed bar clamps and all of the hand clamps.  The bar clamps have a really good size range and the pads are of exceptional quality that are easily removed from CA glue (oops!).  The hand clamps are excellent for those jobs that have workpieces that are easily crushed.  The ratcheting mechanisms have enough serrations built into them to provide just the right amount of gripping force - but not too much.  So much for the import clamps - they just simply aren't built the same.  I know: I have many! Some of the bar clamps also have the ability to be reconfigured for spreading applications.  Some customers have also reported that this spreading setup doubles as a tool used as a 'wedge' to raise and lower objects before final positioning!  There are lots of possibilities - which is why you should have more than one!

Bar Clamps – This category includes the one handed bar clamps. The Micro clamps are what we are carrying now - as this is a better fit for the hobby industry. These clamps all feature one handed operation where jaws can be snugged against the item to be clamped by sliding jaws to gether and pulling the trigger.
